At our farm, we don’t offer typical visits but family experiences, as we want every visit to become a unique and unforgettable experience.
With a comprehensive approach, we fully dedicate ourselves to you—sharing our story, the farm, the animals, and the rural way of life.
You can choose from various packages, tailored to your wishes and interests.
Important: Farm visits are only possible with a prior reservation and selection of an experience.

Basic package

Spend a quality day with your family and experience the true authenticity of farm life! This program is designed for you to discover the charm of rural living together, meet the animals, and connect with nature and our story. 🏡
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly residents – ponies, goats, chickens, and rabbits eagerly waiting for your company! During the guided tour, you’ll learn what it’s like to live on a farm and feel a genuine connection with nature.

We’ll take our ponies—Medi, Gaya, Miška, and Miškot—on a walk, and children will have the chance to take the reins and lead the ponies on the trail.

NOTICE! During the winter months, due to unpredictable weather conditions, family experiences are organized by prior arrangement — please call us at +386 31 314 870 or email us at info@podkostanji.si.
We are located at 800 meters above sea level, where snow and wind are common in winter, so it’s best to contact us in advance to make arrangements. Winter equipment is also required, as access is via a paved road, but the route is steep and winding, and fresh snowfall can occasionally make access more difficult.
Once you submit your booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation email letting you know that we’ve received your reservation.
To confirm the booking, an advance payment of €15.00 is required. After submitting the reservation, you will be redirected to a page with payment details.

*The family experience price applies to one family: parents (2 adults) and their children. For visits with multiple families, we offer a 15% discount. For each additional person (e.g. aunts, uncles…), there is an extra charge of €10.00 per person.
Basic Information About Your Experience
BE ON TIME
Because we value both your time and ours—and want to give each family our full attention—we kindly ask you to arrive exactly at the scheduled time. Based on your chosen time slot, we organize our day around your visit. This helps us ensure a high-quality experience while also keeping up with daily farm work.
APPROPRIATE CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR
Dress appropriately for the weather.
In spring and autumn, we recommend rubber boots; in summer, sneakers are ideal.
For the barn, children should wear “play clothes” that can get dirty so they can fully enjoy the experience.
In winter, don’t forget gloves, and we also suggest a scarf or headband.
